(of course it is, we all know about those groups of 6th grade females and their terrorist demands: "Give us a school dance with lots of Britney Spears songs or we will blow up the school!") My favorite part is this this quote: "All I can say is that when we have taken action related to the activities of students in the schools, we have done so after a thorough investigation," Mount Lebanon School District Superintendent Glenn Smartschan said. They looked at that stick-figure drawing VERY THOROUGHLY before they decided to suspend her, so get off their backs O.K.?!!

Ah, we have lost our innocence. I yearn for the carefree days, like a few years ago when a school suspended a six-year-old for his sexual harassment of kissing a girl on the cheek.

I think something should be done to students who threatan teachers. Remember, this is probably the 1,354th threat this teacher has gotten that day. Kids can be pretty rough. Believe me.

The point isn't that she was punised. The point is that the school called it a "Terrorist Threat". The problem (besides over-reacting) is that people teaching today can't properly use/understand simple English words/phrases. Either that or they (falculty *and* staff in this case) are entirely removed from reality or have no regard for the truth. (even after a "thorough investigation"). All that being said, You don't see too many 11 year old girls with guns. And short of that, she can be the roughest little tyke in the universe, and I reckon that I am not going to be in a panic of fear.
